Compensation Disclosure
This Compensation Disclosure explains every way a Tier Seller can earn money and every way they cannot. The FTC requires that compensation disclosures for plans of this type be clear, prominent, and accurate.
Your primary income: the resale spread
Tier is a wholesaler. Sellers buy virtual items from Tier at one flat wholesale price — the same price for every Seller — and resell them on their own marketplaces for whatever spread they can earn. That spread is your main income and it is not paid by Tier — it is the difference between your wholesale cost and your resale price. Tier does not offer volume-based purchase discounts; the former "Tier Ladder" discount program was retired effective July 1, 2026. Affiliate compensation remains limited to the three mechanics described below.
Purchases are made as packages of $500 to $5,000,000 per order. The flat wholesale price is set at 40% of each item's suggested retail price, so a package's contents carry approximately 2.5× the purchase price in suggested resale value. That figure is a market reference, not a payment: Tier never buys inventory back, never remits resale proceeds, and never guarantees that any item will sell at any price. The Seller performs every resale themselves, sets their own prices, and bears the risk that market prices move. A package is inventory to resell — it is not an investment, and the 2.5× figure is not a promised return.
Affiliate compensation (maximum 20% of commissionable volume)
On top of the resale spread, Tier pays a network compensation plan. Total payout exposure is capped at 20% of commissionable sales volume, across three mechanics:
1. Direct Referral Bonus — 5%, one time
When a Seller you personally referred places and pays for their first order, you earn 5% of that order, once. It is paid only on a completed, non-refunded first order. It is never paid for the act of signing someone up, and never on any fee to join (there is no such fee — joining is free).
2. Leadership Pools — 10% total
Tier sets aside 2% of company commissionable volume for each of five leadership ranks (10% total). Each rank's 2% pool is split evenly among the Sellers who hold that rank and meet that month's maintenance. A rank is earned on the size and sales of your downline — both a minimum number of active personally-enrolled Sellers and a minimum total group (team) volume:
| Rank | Active personally-enrolled sellers | Group (team) volume | Monthly maintenance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Builder | 3 | $10,000 | 1 personal referral sale every 90 days |
| Director | 10 | $50,000 | 2 personal referral sales / month |
| Executive | 25 | $150,000 | 3 personal referral sales / month |
| Ambassador | 50 | $500,000 | 5 personal referral sales / month |
| Founder | 100 | $1,000,000 | Maintain 10 active personally-enrolled sellers |
Figures above are qualification thresholds, not earnings. Pool amounts depend entirely on company volume and how many Sellers share each pool in a given month, and may be $0. Actual pool history comes from live data, not this page.
3. Company Bonus Promotion — up to 5%, discretionary
From time to time Tier may declare a company bonus promotion of up to 5% of a period's commissionable volume, split among ranked Sellers. It is discretionary — there is no guarantee one will be offered in any period.
Maintaining a rank — and losing it
Ranks are not permanent. To keep a rank each month you must remain an active Seller, meet that rank's maintenance requirement, and keep at least 50% of the group volume that qualified you. Miss one month and you enter a grace period (no pool that month). Miss a second consecutive month and you are demoted one rank.
What you cannot earn
- You earn nothing for the bare act of recruiting or enrolling a Seller. Pay is tied to product sales, never to recruitment.
- There is no signup bonus, head-hunting fee, or pay-to-recruit of any kind.
- There is no buy-in. No purchase is ever required to join, hold a rank, or share a pool.
- Leadership pools pay only Sellers who hold the rank and meet that month's maintenance — there is no passive, permanent pool income.
- A rank can never be bought or paid for; it is earned on real downline sales activity.
This is a multi-level marketing plan
Because rank and leadership-pool earnings scale with the Sellers you recruit and the volume your downline generates, this is a multi-level / network-marketing plan. We do not describe it as anything else. Plans of this kind are lawful only when compensation is driven by genuine product sales to real customers rather than by recruiting. Tier's plan is designed around that line — anyone can buy without joining, pay is on sales, and there is no buy-in — but the regulatory risk is real, and is compounded by the gray-market nature of the underlying items (see our risk disclosures).
Realistic income expectations
Income from participation in the Tier network is not guaranteed and depends entirely on your sales performance and that of any network you build. Most participants earn little to no affiliate income. The Income Disclosure Statement contains actual earnings data for active Sellers over the past 12 months. We strongly encourage you to review it before applying.
