Your core income is the resale spread: you buy items from Tier at wholesale and resell them to your own customers for the difference. On top of that, Tier runs a multi-level (network-marketing) affiliate plan whose total payout is capped at 20% of commissionable volume, made up of three parts:

• 5% Direct Referral Bonus — one-time, when a seller you personally referred completes their first paid order.
• Leadership Pools, 10% total — five rank-based pools (Builder through Founder), each funded by 2% of commissionable volume and split evenly among that rank's holders who meet monthly maintenance.
• Company Bonus Promotion, up to 5% — discretionary, split among ranked sellers.

Wholesale pricing itself is flat — every seller buys at the same price, and there is no volume-based purchase discount.

No. There is no signup bonus for you or for anyone you bring on board. You earn referral commissions only when the people you referred actually complete sales. Commission is on sales volume, not on the act of recruitment itself.

No. Leadership ranks are a network-marketing structure: every rank from Builder to Founder requires both a number of active personally-enrolled sellers and a level of group/team volume. There is no solo path to a leadership rank. You can still earn the resale spread on your own sales and the one-time Direct Referral Bonus without ranking — but the Leadership Pools are paid only to sellers who build and maintain a qualifying team.

Ranks are not permanent: in every case you must stay active and keep at least 50% of your qualifying group volume. Miss one month and you get a grace month (no pool that month); miss two consecutive months and you drop one rank.

There are five Leadership Pools, one per rank — Builder, Director, Executive, Ambassador, and Founder. Each pool is funded by 2% of commissionable volume (10% in total across all five). There are no rank weights: each pool is split evenly among the sellers who hold that rank and meet that rank's monthly maintenance requirement. Hold a rank but miss maintenance and you do not share in that month's pool.

Payout periods close on the 1st of each month. After the period closes, Tier aggregates your eligible commissions and issues a payout to the method on file in your seller settings (PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer, or other). You set your payout method in your dashboard before the period ends.

Yes. Customers can purchase directly without joining the network. Your job as a Tier seller is to sell products, not to recruit customers into the seller program.

Refunded amounts are reversed from the relevant commissions. If the full sale is refunded, the commission is reversed. Partial refunds result in proportional adjustments. Reversals are applied as separate offsetting rows — your original commission row is never altered.

Two ways. First, the Direct Referral Bonus: a one-time 5% paid to you when a seller you personally referred completes their first paid order. Second, the Leadership Pools: once you earn a rank, you share evenly in that rank's monthly 2% pool, which is funded by the group volume of the teams beneath ranked sellers. Every partner gets a unique referral code. Share your code or a link containing it (e.g., app.tier.partners/signup?ref=YOURCODE — older tier.partners/apply links redirect there too). When someone signs up with your code, they become one of your personally-enrolled sellers. You earn a one-time 5% Direct Referral Bonus on their first paid order, and they count toward the active-seller requirements for your leadership rank.

No. Tier sellers are independent contractors, not employees. You are responsible for your own taxes on income earned through the platform. See the Independent Contractor Agreement for full details.

Eligible commissions from completed periods are paid out regardless. However, if your account is terminated for cause, any unpaid balance is forfeited. See the Seller Agreement for the full termination policy.
